The longest game I played was Maplestory, which was almost 2-3 years. But, I don't play it so it's not the "BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED".
The best game I ever played is R.o.s.e. My all time favorite.
As for now, I'm lovin' Granado Espada but it does get boring at times. I just can't wait for the faction war and such coming up. (x

I played FFXI and RO for two years each...I'd have to say RO was the better of the two. I played the official servers, Loki to be exact. Loki had such an amazing community..i had so many friends there. I still talk to some of them. Yeah, RO is definitely the best MMO i've ever played. hands down.

Yup, sites been around for awhile. Lately though, Blizzard has been doing trademark shuffling with Diablo, year before and last year they hired people for the Diablo team project, and recently the author Richard Knaak who just finished the Sin War trilogy let it slip that he and Chris Metzen worked on the canon for it and that he was not working for a dead game.
Blizzard said earlier this year that they are unveiling two new games this year and the newest WoW expansion. The first game (Starcraft 2) was unveiled at the Korean Worldwide Invitational and the next game plus WoW expansion will be revealed in August at Blizzcon.

I know lots of people are going to hate me for this and call me a fanboy, but I recently got into World of Warcraft. Amazing game, really. Just the lower levels aren't as cool because of the newbie armor and skills... Can't wait to get 20+ so I can finally Dual Wield... Level 18 AIP... ='[
I also got Shadowbane to work! But XFire won't track it... Got a bird person (Forgot the name) and of course I am a rogue... Interface is a little weird at first, but I figured it out and junk. Pretty fun...
So, overall i'd say WoW for now. Unless it gets really boring and SB turns out to be better or some other game, I don't know... Best free one would be SB probably so far. Done really nothing, still confused, but it seems like it has a lot more to uncover and fun to have! So, P2P is WoW and F2P is SB...

The next step in Diablo's RPG style kinda franchise would have to be Hellgate London, it's being made by some of the same people who made Diablo 2. Although, one of the best games I've ever played would have to be.... Starcraft.

I don't know about free servers, but PSOBB was fun. I love the look of the rare weapons, and the team option in BB. PVP was OK too.

I am very much against Roper and company when it comes to Hellgate: London. They have a wonderful world and premise, but with the change to MMOFPS and the normal VS elite customer packages I find it very much a letdown. This is not an evolution of Diablo. This is more of an evolution to Doom or Quake imo.

but i have the most memories, fun times, scary times, sad times, funny times, best times from Tibia.
It was the second mmo for me to player after runescape... The funny thing about tibia is... you have to be stupid to actually start playing that game and actually get to level 8...but then u have to be smart to keep playing n play correctly... It was perfect for my age time... i matured n got smarter just in time for level 8... if i was smarter before that...i woulda uninstalled right away

My best and most favorite game was Legend of Mir 3... First real "downloadable" online MMO i have played. I was 12, now im 15... Legend of mir 3 was amazing because it was full of team work, nice people, guilds, bosses , not overly huge maps, new places to explore etc... It was not like those games where u "click click die" or "auto attack!!!!" It was based on skill, stratedgy, luck and persiverence. I played that for about 1 year but unfortunatly it was p2p and...that it, i stopped playing , I got sad D:. All my friends left the game or moved to p2p. I was the youngest on the server ( apart from other 30 year olds and their children ) to play that game solo. I was a taoist lvl 42( highest lvl in the game was 46 by a wizard...and lemme tell u that its insanly hard to lvl
after that I learnt about private server...i know there "illigal" or whatever but i never knew that then. Basically private servers ruined the gameplay, the excitement of things, and just made it easy to get to like lvl 90 .... like it was just soooo dumb. The best was when we would all group up and team up on a hard boss, running around doging blasts and healing people and settings spells and stuff... geez i loved that. Another fun thing was when we all killed bosses that weren't ment for are levels. Like when we killed Zuma Taurus or Red Moon evil for the first time. Amazing i say it was simply Amazing. luring the bosses to corners and using special resistance armour and stuff. OMG best gameplay ever....
Unfortunatly those were the best days of my life until it was over...i hardly play mmo's now. Ive played maple, lunia, gunz online and audition... so far the only ones i stick to are gunz and audition... because i love music and dance...and gunz is skill and pro team work....but i dont go on them to often.

For the best P2P game, Star Wars Galaxies definitely gets my vote(back before the CU and NGE that is). World of Warcraft is a close second, played it for half a year and had a lot of fun with it, I'm on a break from it currently. For the best F2P game, I'd have to say Voyage Century.

Meh for me it's gonna have to be WOW as my fave all time P2P,(which i still play lvl 40 hunter beast spec ftw!), and for my other probably RO played it for about 3 years....
