Can I play the following with a Joystick

I found out I could play rumble fighter and lunia with a gamepad/joystick but I heard u could do it with maple but it didn't work anyone know how to do it with maplestory?

i dont know how to work it. How am I suppose to know what XML means >.> these ppl need to learn how to elaborate
