What is with the deal of marriage in mmorpg?

i thinks its kinda stupid as well, but the reason they have it is because some people take these games way too seriously.

its like the rules for sex in D&D. i mean, wtf is the point in that?

anyways the reason of marriage in games is because the game makers see that a lot of the players consider an mmorpg as a 2nd form of life, so they decided to allow the people to get married in the game also. Another reason is that people are really desperate so they need to marry a supposed "girl"(or guy if they are in to that) in a game -.- There area many reasons marriage is put into a mmo becase it's viewed as a 2nd life, desperate gamers, etc.
