Basically, it goes like this. Once upon a time there was a subculture of people called "Goths". The whiny dimwits dressed in black, pissed and moaned about how horrible life was, and embraced the darker side of society in verse. Those who were actually Goths wound up killing themselves in fits of self-delusional depression and deserve our respect for cleaning the gene pool a bit. The rest of the pseudo-goth posers that were left decided they needed a new drug since suicide was hard to finish, so they ***** punk rock and are still trying to convince the world it's good.
