Seal Online was dropped by K2Networks for one primary reason:

The dev is a very difficult to work with. From what I have been told, they kept making unreasonable demands, especially for post-launch, even though the game had barely hit Alpha over here for in-house testing. K2Networks look at the profit potential as well as how hard it would be to keep the dev happy after sinking 2 mill into the game and decided it was best to sever the connection then.

The dev has since stated they will not allow the game to be released to English speaking audiences.
