alright, it seems every mech series is taking ALOTof ideas from Neon Genesis... i mean just look at the gundam one. Eureka 7 just reminds me of a nice version of neon genesis.

Yeah I dont understand this. The transforming part is used alot, evangalion isnt an exlusive, and for the chobs and dears, the story lines are nothing the same, they thought of bots in love are a genre, and for chobs- theres a lost bot who's actually some legend to twins and is found in garbage without some chip.Originally Posted by twilightkite

Wrong, you nut job. Most, if not all Mecha based animes were inspired by the original Gundam series. If anything, NGE is taking from Gundam, and evolving the mechs in such a way that they become biomechanical. Same with E7.
Also, NGE is not God's Holy Grail of all animes. There are better shows. So please, show interest in something else once in a while.
