    Default Anyone play Shadowrun??

This game is awesome.. Anyone who owns a 360 should pick this game up ASAP.. The game has magic/summons and special tech gear that upgrades your character with special abilities... Also theres 4 classes and each have there own unique abilities... This game is very deep for a FPS... Check out the video below...

Edit - Forgot to add this game is for PC too but can only be played in Windows Vista... PC players and XBOX 360 players can play in games together as well

That does look pretty cool. I might have to pick it up. Is it a run n' gun sort of game? It seemed like that to me.

Well you cant just spray with your guns because they will be less accurate but thats only with automatics (Mini Gun is a exception)... Some people say it's like CS shooting wise whatever that means... Anyway heres a list of the classes and some of there Pros/Cons...

Human: Humans are the balanced, jack-of-all-trades race. They are versatile and can fill a number of different roles. They:

    1. Start with bonus money, allowing them to get a jump start on the other races.

    2. Have the lowest essence penalties for using tech of any race.

    3. Have the third highest essence, after the Dwarf and the Elf.

    4. Have the second highest health, after the Troll.

Elf: Elves are well suited to hit and run tactics, getting in quickly, getting away, and living to fight some more. They:

    1. Slowly regenerate health over time if they are not being damaged. This ability is powered by the player's essence while healing.

    2. Are the fastest race, though they are slowed more than the others by carrying heavy weapons.

    3. Have the second highest essence, after the Dwarf.

    4. Have the least health of all the races.

Troll: Trolls are the assault troops, large and slow moving, but hard to kill. They:

    1. Skin hardens when hit, reducing the amount of damage that they take, but slowing their movement. If a troll is trading bullets with a non-troll, the non-troll is likely going to lose. Hardening takes essence and will wear off over time if the troll runs out of essence or stops being damaged.

    2. Are the slowest race, but are not slowed at all by carrying heavy weapons.

    3. Have the same essence as humans but pay a higher essence cost for tech.
Have the most health of any race.

Dwarf: Dwarves are small and have the innate ability of absorbing essence from their surroundings, allowing them to bypass magical defenses and frustrate enemies by draining their essence. They:

    1. Absorb essence from magic in the environment, destroying trees of life, minions, and strangle vines while replenishing their own essence.

    2. Absorb essence from players, though this ability works on enemies at a farther distance than on allies. To drain essence from an ally, you need to be standing almost on top of them.

    3. Have the most essence of any race, but it regenerates extremely slowly on its own. Absorbing essence will help to keep their essence bar full.

    4. Have the third highest health, after the Troll and the Human.

Yeah they were talking about the ladder animation... Your character just stays in place and moves up the ladder with no animation.. But it doesn't effect the gameplay at all and I don't even notice it to be honest.. The developers addressed this issue on there forum... They took out the animation because they wanted it out... Heres a quote from there forum from a dev....

What's up with the ladder climbing? Why is there no climbing animation?

We made a conscious choice not to have one. We have a rule here that gameplay comes first. In our gameplay, being able to look and shoot freely in any direction while on a ladder is very important. We did a lot of research, looking for ways we could have this kind of gameplay and still make ladder climbing look good. The end result: nothing that looked good allowed the kind of gameplay we needed. The options: leave the ladder animations as is, or remove all the ladders in the game and replace them with elevators or similar. We left them as is.
