Firefox is well-known to be safer than IE.

I really don't see any difference.

But Firefox is safer, and is my current browser..

    So yeah, Firefox FTW.

Firefox has a better javascript support than IE.

If you get something like the No-Script add-on, there can be problems until you allow the site to run java, but as long as you have java enabled there will be no problems.

Using the words "safe" and "Internet Explorer" in the same sentence is just crazy.

Another "why is firefox good" thread...how about this...I just got a pop-up from IE, and I don't have it open. I'm using firefox. I KNOW the security of Mozilla is better than IE.

O/T Great. Now I have to go through all that bullshit to rip out IE again. >_>

yea, you'd be more safe using FF over IE.
I have not had to switch back to IE from FF for a site in at least a year, maybe a few months over a year.
They should all work flawlessly with FF.

You took a step in the wrong direction on that one. IE is the biggest wormhole ever.
I swear it was written in Basic and compiled by a drunken elephant.
It's an awful idea to use IE due to all of it's security loopholes, especially when ordering something.

Not to mention, but Microsoft products have a bad tendancy to turn into Decepticons, lol. (I just watched Transformers and can't get over that scene)
