We have seen many questions from you about games that game&game used to provide.
I'm afraid to tell you that some games that we used to offer stop their service because of the developer's internal reason.

Here are games which temporarily stop their service as of 21st June, 2007:

Nostale Online
Monato Esprit
Dragon Gem
Infinity
Neo Baseball
Blitz 1942
Sky raiders

We hope that those games will open their service soon.
As soon as we hear from good news from those developers, we will announce to you too.

It's not GnG's fault the games didn't attract enough attention. GnG are just a temporary host, it's up to the developer to find a proper sponsor to publish their game, which they failed to do, and decided to pull the games from GnG.

Yea, it's based on the developers, nostale isn't even shutting down, it just transfered to a different publisher and I just played nostale a few minutes ago. (Yes I'm in the alpha beta, don't ask to be in it because I'll be pissed)

GnG starts a new game for free- complain its not out yet

well open beta will surely still be released.. but if no company in the us decided to buy the license for the game n handle the full released then yeah.. it will be dead....

Yes like some other ppl said GnG merely hosts the games they dont publish them.And plus stop blaming GnG for this.Its the devs faults not theirs.IMO infinity is actually good....but travia has no community and is a PoS

true that its mostly not gng's fault when a game has major bugs and need to be closed a short time so that the developer can fix it,
BUT ! when there are good running games like Darness and Light where they stop talking to the community and never listn to what they say and change the settings to the completly oposide of what is requested i assume it IS their fault !

they rarely ever talk to the players (which is no good cuz the player know what they want most) and sometimes they change settings to the worse ...

I was playing DAL when they started to change everything to the bad and in about one week half of the community left ! ok yesterday i looked into the server again and saw that there are many player back now but still not much there V

I for one am happy that they are dropping some of those games. Those games may have a big community and fan base in asian countries. But Some of those games get boring for the NA community. I guess the good news would be. That makes room for better games to be published thru GnG. So we will just have to wait and see what new games they will pick up.

@Ryien: thats not the reason at all. all cabal online is F2P at the moment... and if there is a global cabal online, it would have IP block too.. they will block countries that already have their own version of cabal.

Who cares. Let them be the worst company and just play other games. They just host games for other gaming company to buy, like everyone else said, advertising. Some of those games are NOT that good IMO.

Temporary shut down, the game devs may decided to host games on their own servers, or have somebody else do it.

Remember, GameNgame simply provides servers to help mmorpgs make it to USA.
They use to host GunZ online n' such.

In their forum the ppl said that those chances were not done in Korean version also (dunno if true or not) so the Admins from gamengame did that, its not as if they could do nothing V change some values in the settings should even be possible for them to do.

And not talking to the people won't make it better ... they can at least try to hold a conversation with the player.

I never said they completly suck but its NOT ONLY the developers fault when a game that is good changes to bad when they get it


Alaplaya as example hast GM's that take the time to speak with the ppl and try to help them with problems and so on so that they can even run boring games like audition with succes ... its just a matter of how they comunicate with the player !

Really ; It's still listed on GnG's site though..but I kind of thought that, due to the lack of SSO in Trickster now.
