New Movie
Alright, well I already ruined the surprise for the poor saps on YouTube, so I guess I'll do the same for all of you.
Following in the giant footprints of the Transformers, a new movie coming out in 2008. Voltron! Fortunately, they're taking a much darker spin on the old 80's cartoon.

Fun facts: This film is actually untitled right now; however, in order to release the trailer to theaters, they had to call it something.
SO in such, you can find out more info about this be researching the name "Cloverfield" or "Project Cloverfield" as that was the temp name released on the trailers.
[edit] It's going to be a monster film, as slated from a leak from Paramount.
[edit again] The entire film is rumored to be shot entirely with film effect reflecting that of a low grade camera, essentially from the hands of a by goer. That trailer is supposed to be real footage from the movie.
[edit once more] I don't believe this is the trailer for Voltron, the blog even says they don't know. From the facts I've gathered by sluecing through the Internet, I know that this trailer is about a monster.

The movie is about a monster called the parasite. I could have the name wrong, but it's a monster movie, not a Voltron movie. Also, they don't say "it's a lion", the man said "it's alive".

I saw this on the previews in the movie theater while waiting for Transformers to start, it was really cool with the surround sound, and the big screen.

And that'll be the only movie's TP (Traler Package) with the "Cloverfield" trailer on it. Theaters don't randomly throw trailers onto movie, we are given a list and stick them on in that order. I seriously hate when people film teasers like its coming from a low tech video camera. It makes things look really piss poor and if you throw CGI in it it will look like shit and, it makes the CGI stand out like a clown in a room full of Samurai's.
Also its not Voltron...no chance in hell.

No, he actually does say "Lion". I have heard rumors that the "parasite" is also some reference to Cthulu.
And, to poke a hole in my own Voltron theory. The script of Voltron starts 5 years after the alien invasion of earth, which would make this footage way too early in the timeline for the film (unless there's a brief intro like this before the movie starts).

I read that in a wiki that voltron is going to be a live-action movie. I used to watch voltron on Cartoon network while getting up to go to school. My Friend is addicted to that show. Voltron>TransFormers.Isn't voltron suppose to be like futristic instead of Modern day?Why are they in NEW YORK! 0.0 this movie is going to be god aweful!

Heres the problem with the idea behind this being Voltron:
1.They have already confirmed it takes place The planet Arus.
2.Earth isn't a factor in the Voltron story.
3. Why would one of the Voltron lions blow shit up and Knock down the stature of liberty?
4. Where is Pharrell Williams and his stupid ass music he was doing for the movie?
Becides, its pretty stupid to make such a weird teaser about Voltron....but man oh man will I be pissed off if those numbers that appear in those pics and video are what number Voltron they are.
Edit: It can't be Voltron. like 5 people are producing Voltron already and, Matt Reeves isn't the director for Voltron.

Well, actually the Voltron movie does take place on Earth. However, it also takes place in the future (5 years after earth is taken over by the Drules). Since this video appears present day, I'm guessing my original Voltron theory was wrong.
