It isn't an MMORPG.
1) Like I said, it isn't a game. It's never going to BE a game. It HAS games to play, but it ISN'T one, thus it doesn't belong on any of these forums.
2) If ANY forum, it would be the Browser/MUD forum, not Free MMORPG. But it doesn't belong in either. Just relates more to Browser/MUD.
3) Almost everyone knows of GaiaOnline if they get on the internet a lot. It is the number one growing website on the web, so there is no need to bug everyone with things they know about.
Not trying to be mean (Although it might come off that way... Sorry...) but this is like post "Hey, check out this game! It's called "World of Warcraft". It is made by a company know as "Blizzard" and it has a bunch of subscribers! Try it out!"... Do you get my point..?

ok let me clear this up ( even though i said it in thread gave links ) the battle system is not out and just will be updated this year with a team of about 50 ppl. There are no weapons as I said there will be battle rings that can maybe summon wepons.

If its played in the browser its a BROWSER game, like it or not, but if it is creating a MMORPG then it would fit here, maybe edit your post and put at the front that the MMORPG half is not out yet, to clear confusion.
I played for awhile, got alot of holiday crap and got pretty loaded whenever I did pop in (year intervals so I got around 20K+ for the crap I gathered out of boredom) but I'm not big on RPing so half of the forum lost its appeal to me, so I just dropped it.
Glad to see their progressing in the mmo half.

Yes if its played in the browser(The MMORPG half, not the current Gaia) it can go in that section, however if it is indeed a real MMORPG it can still be put here, as even if its browser its a MMORPG, such as Runescape, it may be played in your browser but that doesn't change the fact its a MMORPG.

No it wont they have been working on it for way over a year and with a 50 people team? I asure you the mmorpg will be better than that. The game certainly will measure up. Its not just one of there mediocre projects. It will be the most advanced project they have madetrue,people dont take the time to go to mud/browser.

I think it'll be a good thing for Gaia. Many people on the forums and in some guilds i've been in were gettin' tired of waiting for it, and some even quit.
I've only done 1 race, but my car is all decorated and stuff. The race was kind of laggy, and I wasn't used to it so of course I lost by like... half the length of the track. Very odd system... Everyone had the little Scion type cars. While I had a big rockin' blue truck with horns and some nice rims with some wings and junk.Pretty cool, but not much to choose from...

For the creator of this topic, you dont know so much about it either. Saying "everyone will have different rings" is a complete lie. They cant make complete seperate rings for every single member on the site, when over 80 thousand people get on there daily. Its just impossible. I believe you dont get one ring, but two also.
It is not even similar to gaia towns. Dont say its a simple version, its intirely different and has its own completly different objective. Towns is just basically a chat room. Battle is a mmorpg.
The game will be like Ragnarok mostly, with 3d world, 2d characters.
There are indeed levels, but not the kind of levels we are used to. Its called Ring Fu. The higher your ring fu, the better rings you can equip. The only way you make it higher is by killing monsters. So yes, there is a grind in some way.
As for the artist battle thread on gaia, it doesnt really have much info, its more of a picture post. There is a thread that I made on there that has TONS more info:

You know, you're not helping anything. And if you would read my later posts, which I SERIOUSLY doubt you did seeing as you never do, you would see that I already cleared up that I missunderstood the topic. So, just be quiet. Calling me those things and gettin' in a tissy about me correcting something I thought was wrong is just stupid. Hmm, I thought it was kind of strange when I first heard about the rings thing. But now it seems better. It would be stupid to have your character level up and stuff. I love the whole anime type avatars and the items and stuff, and I would totally hate the battle system if they just had a generic character leveling system. Want to try it already to see if it will be good or not...
