Default Games controled by your mind . . . this is not a what if thread

Well, I was checking out Planet Half-life out of bordum a while ago and came across this interesting video in the latest newspost.

    http://www.brightcove.com/title.jsp?title=704328501

A company has developed a head piece that can read brain waves. To test the product, they simply created a mod for HL2 in which you levitate, pull, throw, or drop physics objects.

It's very interesting, I must say.

Oh wow but how would you play games that are extremely fast paced, I doubt a 10 year old would have the brain power to play these kind of games.

    Hmm, pretty interesting...

I wonder how long it'd take to reach the market.

You shout and no one seems to hear.

    That is ****ing unreal o_o.

Finally, .hack fans will rejoice =p.

But if its something that Dr.Octapus uses in Spider man 2 (where this needle like inserts itself or something) then I'm not risking it.

I would only do it if theres no sharp things entering my skull/skin or whatever >_>.

THis is probaly not going to do so well, What if the gamer was 24/7 and he kept using this helmet. I am sure he will exhauste all his mental energy and collapse.
Parents will be concern and Jack thompson probaly let this shit happen.
