I wanna play a 2d mmorpg. I know maple story , dragon gem and ghost online.
Played MS already but it was realy slow and grind fest so i stopped.
What can you tell me about dragon gem and ghost online? Which is the best?
What about the community?
Also im waiting for Lunia , it looks like it will pwn

They are both mediocre games at best, and they were both seen as cheap Maple Story clones.
Dragongem is dead pretty much. Noone knows when it will come back, I think o.o.

Well, there are many more types of 2d games than just side-scrollers. There are ones like Myth War, Trickster, TS Online, Dragon Raja, Eudemons, Conquer Online, etc. etc... The list goes on for a while... One of my favorite old timely games was Dransik. If you have an Ashen Empires account (Free..) you can play both games. The launcher that lets you play the games quit workin' for me every time you needed to update.So, I can't play anymore, but it was fun.

Both Ghost Online and Dragon Gem were developed and released before Maple Story (not Globally, obviously). So whoever said they're cheap imitations of MS is an imbecile.

That's true, and even though I prefer Maple to both of them, I've gotta admit that it isn't 100% original. T__T
