Just to let the US/NA members know that the time it will be up is 2AM central time. The servers should be going down 8PM central time, tonight.

hmm sounds good i hope we can arrange a gathering and a server before everything goes online i hate playing solo in mmorpgs and i only got one friend comming with me to this game. Ill just keep checking this thread for updates

I suggest DLing the Europe client before things get crazy, when the servers go down for the update. And yes, you need the new Europe client.

The silkroad official site news about downloading their client is confusing, i agree.
I ended up removing the european client i already had and re-downloading it. >_<
...anyway, when i double click on the client, it says "This is a client file that can be used after the Europe update. Users who wish to log into the game quickly on the day of Europe update, please keep the client file ntil the day of Europe update and use it on the very day."
So all my moneys are on this client to work come the 24th ^_^
..also, the news announcement warns against downloading the client on the date of the 24th.

To put it simple, if you want to play till the servers go down, use the old client. After the update is done, you will need the Europen expansion client.

Wizard/Cleric is not a good combination since you won't have time to heal anyway. Monsters mostly 1-2 hit-ko Wizards. Bard would be a wiser choice. But that's just my opinion.
