    Default So I was thinking...

Of maybe download Americas Army? Can you give me some reviews on what you think of this game, I know the graphics are good but is there like loads of different maps and missions and are there ranks/levels and good gameplay (you know stuff like that) Thanks for your help

    Well from what I remember,

There are 99 total "levels" you gain from killing people, doing objectives, (etc.)

Plus a whole bunch of missions you have to do to get qualifications to use items.

An example would be the Special Forces mission, where you have to crawl for about an hour with only a knife dodging patrols and spot lights. If you complete it you can use the "modded" m4s and use the SF slot when your ingame.

When you first join a match, it will show you a whole bunch of "slots" which you pick to give you your weapons. Like the indigenous forces tab gives you a simple rifle, while the RPG tab gives you an RPG. (There is also a sniper tab, and support tab available in some maps) And lastly a Special Forces tab. At "level" 20 I think you can use the tab after you finish the SF mission.

There are plenty of maps to keep you busy. Big community there too.

If you like tactical games then you should like this. I haven't played in a while and I heard there was a huge patch for it so my info may be off. Overall I loved the game. Be warned, its very hard to get good at .

If you like these kinds of FPS's, Americas Army will probably frustrate you at first. Unlike those games, in Americas Army you have to go slower, watch your buddies back, edge doors open to see if its clear on the other side. It's a tactical game and won't get very far trying to be a lone wolf... at least not until you have the maps down. You can't run 'n gun.

If you go into this thinking, "I hope this is like Counter Strike", you'll be disappointed. Great game though, I'd be obsessed with it if my PC could run it.
