What is Fury?

Fury is a new online role playing game that is revolutionizing PVP.

Another new preview has popped up over at Warcry. Having previously played Fury at PAX last year, author Dana Massey highlights improvements since then.

"The game truly feels like an action FPS, but is completely an RPG. Like most MMOs, I had a wide selection of feats and used them. There are buffs, melee attacks, long range spells, firewalls, etc."

Uhm, what to say...

I've plaied the beta, and it was ... REALLY BAD !

Graphics (on screen shots were 2-3x better) were ugly and they were freezing my PC so hard ... (I can play Oblivion very smoothly on very high , even max (but with little FPS loss)).

Gameplay... Pure PvP (yea, i like the idea), but... TOO WAY FAST PACED ! Its even faster than Quake 3 !!! Wtf ?! You just have to spam with Skills, keep pressing #2 , #3 and #4 like crazy... .


For me, its overhyped on screenshots ;/ ...

Too chaotic, too many NPCs in City, Too fast (GW is like 3x or 4x slower o.O), screenshots Post-Improved (IMO), Graphics not such good but computer is lagging like crazy ... .


My opinion is, not worth playing ;/ maybe they gonna make some good things, wich will be worth playing, but now... No way !


Remember, its only my opinion ^^ .

I liked somethings (Telling that, the game is not pure bad :P ):

Character Creation (Not intro ! IT WAS USLESS !!! and took so many minutes of my life ;/ couldn't skip it even...) - Choose 1 between 4 main jobs, while every single (of those 4) had 2-3 sub-jobs .

Pure PVP

Item Prize'ing system (after Battle you had Randomized Prizes, you had to choose 3 items, from about 6-8, wich you want).

And some other wich i dont remember... ;p

But again, game was REALLY bad, when I was playing =/ .

this is the reason why i stopped playing the beta
there is no regular attack, it is all done with skills and spells
unless you start binding skills to different keyboard keys along with different mouse buttons you will not be able to keep up

theres just no time to lift up your hand and spam the number keys
