Reputation: 27What cabinet is it and what model? Different cabinets use different drivers.
Reputation: 13to be honest, if its 20 years old, you should have replaced it 15 years ago.
Reputation: 30Unless your in love with it I'd replace it. Wherever you got it is it still open? I know the place I bought my amp they said if I have any problems take it back to them and they'll take care of it for free sense I got it there. Try that. Don't you have an audio storer near you? I have one. Name isn't at the top of my head but they sell every type of audio equipment and part. Look one up on yahoo. Put in audio store (or something) and your city name.
Reputation: 27So were talking a combo amp here? That makes things different. Anyway, replacing tubes and a speaker(driver) are very different. If you want to go to the trouble of replacing the driver (and possibly ****ing things up) it'd be wise to actually open up your combo amp and tell me the serial number of the driver and/or any other information on it, that is of course if you want to keep the same sound as different drivers may produce a slightly different sound.
Other wise just eBay or amazon a Delta/Eminence/Celestial 15" raw frame bass driver at whatever ohms your combo amp is.
