The job system doesn't really get fun until around lvl 20, where combining another class can make a big difference (IE you could be using merc armor on a Tao or something), so you have a good point. It doesn't take more than a couple days to get to 20 though, so it will get boring eventually unless they add the extra jobs soon after the game goes OB. ^^
