The first forums I ever posted on was Entropia Forums. Nobody knows who I was and I don't know anyone there. But it has a great community. Most people there think noobs are "cute".
I still go back every now and then to see how the game is going.
Edit: I only have 61 posts there. Could'v sworn it was more.

When i got guild wars [my first MMO] i yelled HI EVERONE
and then i went outside and got killed
a bunch of guys pmed me and called me a n00b but i didnt notice the whisper was disabled
