Can I get Counter Strike: source free?

Used to play at a friends but I recently have wanted to play it again and I heard you could get it free somehow could anyone inform me on this or send me a PM ?

There used to be six steam but that stopped working a long time ago. You can try googling it.

CS:S cannot be obtained for free legally. And six steam is much more of a "hack" to bypass cd keys and is therefore illegal. The game is really not that expensive and you get HL2 with it also. So just do yourself a favor and buy the darn game.

Hmm.. This is pointless. But think of it like this You can play free Wow By P servers, but less people and super laggy. You can play CS:S free By probably getting something, which i never heard. But most likely, steam would just shoot that Company down. And i highly doubt you'd play it by steam where theres alot of people and less lag. If you mean No online CS:S then yeah, just Download.

P.S. Hope i didnt break a rule -.- If i did sorry, kinda hard to explain to him if i dont use those.. words like P-server :O

There wasnt suppose to be sense in it.. Thats why i said.. "Put it this way" -.- Read buddy and understand. Steam and Valve, right got me there =D But, it would be the same, Steam wouldn't like people stimulating their Program to activate the games entitled for them. So In reality, wouldn't Steam and Valve help each other to bring down that Private Program? =] So i guess i get half-a-point?

But yes, Steam isn't going to let piracy go freely without warning Valve about this. The only thing steam is entitled to do is lock particular keys and accounts who expected to be used for piracy (like Pacsteam, which enables every steamgame for download).

But i don't think Steam can sue you or anything, unlike valve. Going from the past, i reckon sueing is #1 on valve's to do list
