I Don't Want Your Damned Spyware/Virus Scanner

I downloaded something last night, and something else came with it I guess. Now it's giving me all these popups every few minutes about getting a virus scanner or something and it's really pissing me off. I tried looking around and only got part of it out. Can anyone help?

Get a decent anti-virus program and you should be fine after a scan and a clear up.

Guys it stopped, I used Spybot- Search & Destroy. It worked good. Thanks for helping out guys.
