I just wish Murx and Cereal would post random news (including console news) for me to read. Those were the best topics IMO. Everything now just seems like shit because everyone up here has the IQ of 10 and you get 10 for putting your name on the paper. Seriously, nobody ****in reads through a whole post. It's so retarted. I'm not asking anyone to read through a 10 page thread but reading the first and last pages should suffice. But by page 10, random spam is often all you get. I'm tired of general myself but for some reason I keep coming back. Oh and I really don't feel like bumping my thread because it's already turned into spam, on page 2. Oh and, people aren't running out of ideas, it's actually just that most of the older members/more mature members are being overtaken by the amount of younger members/immature members. It's a steady decline that happens to everything. CS 1.6 was great, CS:S is full of kids screaming, "PWNED N00B!" over and over, and spraying porn all over the map instead of playing CS:S.

I disagree with the CS part. Sure there may be a few immature dickheads that say "PWNED N00B!" but hey? screw them. They're not the boss of you right? Just imagine the words as transparent. But i do agree with the porn part.. I was on this server once and this fagtard admin opens up IE on the server and searches for lemonparty.org... now that is immature and gay.

Well.. It depends really.

Moderators could just warn any person who uses /b/ sayings and acts ******ed. However, that's pretty extreme and really takes away a lot of member's rights.

It could just become socially unacceptable to use /b/ sayings. This is just done by either ignoring somebody or just constantly telling them to type properly. This doesn't need any help from moderators and can be done fairly easily.

There are probably a few others ways, I'm sure everyone is open to suggestions.

I actually believe that the off topicness he created was a good thing. It showed us a prime example of how 1 person can bring an entire thread offtopic with just a few posts. Now that we've seen how a thread can get offtopic, let's try to bring it back ontopic.
