okay so i was on youtube and i saw "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi" the ending dance and i saw a trailer and it looks really funny. My question is is it a movie or a tv show. And could i be able to get it at like best buy in english?

I thought the dance was rather cute...lol

you should really watch the TV show, its cool.
but i would prefer it to be in ENG sub, dubs arent fun and sometimes are hard to understand

On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. When Kyon comments about Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting he unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves dragged, literally, into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).

It's been licensed, I think I've even seen online ads for the DVD set.

[edit] But it's a really good series, just don't get dismayed by the first episode. The series plays out the plot in an on ordered sequence, so you'll find ep 3 is really ep 5 while ep 4 is really ep 2, etc, etc. The first episode is to give you some kind of understanding as to what kind of plot structre to expect.

Note: this series is very addictive and took Japan by storm as one amung many of the best animes of all time.

heh yeah, this is true,
i was confused at first when watching,

listen to Kyon (a guy)
for the way the episodes are set up
and follow Haruhi (a girl)
for the way its supposed to be set, they say it at the end of the show
