Opposing Elements..? (RF... SORRY! XP)

What are opposing elements in RF? Someone said get opposing elements so if a monster is weak to one it'll be more likely to be vulnerable to the other. But I remember thinking that "Those elements aren't opposite..." because he said it funny... Like you'de think Water >< Fire and Earth >< Wind I guess, but i'm not sure what he said... I already have Wind (I like lightning stuff) and i'm wondering if I need to get Earth or something else... Please help? Lol, I have the game running now since I don't want to close it in the middle of choosing...

I choose Fire><Wind o_O I dunno why but lightning looks sweet.

(Fire beats Earth, and Wind bashes water. Least that's what I'm hoping for)

Well, i'm really confused... Should I get Water or Earth? I'm leaning towards Water since Water and Wind go against eachother. And what I mean is that if something is say, Immune to Water, the Wind which is totally opposite should do decent damage (Or Fire, whatever...).

If I could find that old thread I wouldn't have a problem... ;( But I can't...

I liked earth. I always buy earth ammo for my Acc.

It doesn't matter, in the end your going to buy ALL the elements.

Basically, the chain of elements is so:

Fire scorches Earth, Earth blocks Wind, Wind shocks Water, Water extinguishes Fire.

All four elements bash neutral armor/element, and ranger armor blocks all of those.

And yes, fire has the most damaging spells BUT it's also one of the most resisted elements in the game. So it kind of cancels each other out.

I might restart and roll Wind/Water... I like those two, plus I messed up the tutorial and had to skip it. So i'm clueless about some stuff.

It doesn't matter, in the end your going to buy ALL the elements.

And tutorial doesn't help at all, it's just basics like how to attack/move etc.

Im leveling launcher and range PT on my ACC warrior so i tried Earth launcher ammo on Lapis ( they spit fire) and i do little more dmg.

tried also water..no effect..

i bet it doesnt mean nothing that they spit fire ^^

btw accritians are way more helpful then bellatos

some lvl 45 warrior explained me alot stuff about PT etc and how to lvl what and how high..pmed about 30 mins with him ..

You can try the no-element ammo also. If you want to lvl your PT, use the ammo with less damage, so it takes longer and you earn more XP to your PT.
