I left my house for ONE day to go visit family and I come back to play halo 2 with my friends and then I get the red rings of death. It's not there because something is out of place because I fixed everything up myself.

Only reason i'd get a 360 would be to play Fable 2.That game is orgasmic but probably will fail due to loads of system bugs and they will port it to the PC.No biggie.


Hmmm...You guys sure no one messed with your Xbox while you were gone?I bought my PS2 when it was released and it still works.Major brick,thought.My friend got a PSP and it broke 5 months later.Never heard of PS3 or Wii problems yet.Well,apart from a few freezes on the PS3 and some broken TVs with the Wii.

The PS3 isn't a hyped up piece of turd. Everyone and their mom (discluding us Sony renegades) pretty much hate it. Why? People complain about the price, the games, the no need for blu-ray, and pretty much everything else. All of my friends have Wiis and 360s. I'm proly the only person in my ****ing school who even has a PS3. I wanted what I payed for, and I got a quality product with the PS3.

If you don't like it, stfu. Go play your console, and let me enjoy mine. Everybody has their own opinion.

my brother bought a xbox 360 elite today... we already bought kameo and today we also bought blue dragon. the xbox is awesome, we can change it back if we get ring of death but i say it wont happen, we will buy an extra cooler for it

But it's no use if they don't have any GOOD games to run.

The reason why PS2 did so great was they had really great games.

Yeah, 360 hardware is just digustingly bad.
The failure rate is something like 30%.

I've had reasons to buy one in the past, but this has always been a major turn-off.
I recently purchased a new gaming PC, though, and I'm 200x more impressed with it, than I am any console.

Anyway, thanks to this PC, I don't have to worry about buying one.
Pretty much, all the good 360 games make their way onto the PC, so I'm set.

PS2 is just... well, it's solid enough for a console, but still, poorly made.

The failure rate is pretty low, but most of them suffer from shitty lasers that gradually weaken, and eventually stop working altogether, over the course of a few short years.

It seems to vary a lot, though. My best friend bought his PS2 around its release, and it only recently began to DRE. I've been through two PS2's, and I bought mine sometime around a year after its' release.

It's a shame, because my release-day PS1 still works perfectly. ; ;
