why?

depends on what you want, the only difference is the signature games.

if youre an mgs/finalfantasy/kingdom hearts or a platformer fan then get a ps3

if youre a fps or a racer fan, or a halo/gears of war/deadrising fan then get an xbox 360.

I have an xbox 360, and ive played a ps3, and personally prefer the 360.

in the end its what youre looking for in a console, but dont forget, if you buy a 360 then you can buy like 2 extra games with that grand.

Microsoft wasted a lot of money on exclusive content on the game
or about the game.

It was on E3 and such.

You can also get the guitar hero series, i think both Xbox and PS3 have online 1 on 1.

and halo 3 is worth getting a xbox 360.
