Guild wars has scythes...and kantanas...and, well they have twin daggers xD.
Swirling Death Blades that don't massively suck or look ******ed (Hand claws and feet claws).
Coffins that strap to your back with a chain that you can swing around and bludgeon things with.
Massive scythes (like in.hack//GU vol 2).
Swallows (Basically a staff with two massive blades on the end that are wavy and stuff o.o").
Gauntlets that cover your entire arm.
Swords that aren't totally stupid looking. <_____<
Lances and really friggin' huge spears.
And Swords as big as the ones in Monster Hunter. XP

You find tons of blunt weapons in Lord of The Rings. One of my favorite weapons was a giant steel bat that would glow when humans would be near.
Mauls can be found in Herrcot/Ferentus.
Warclaws/Wargauntlets are found in many MMORPGs..... I cant name any of them ATM, my mind is on other things.
There's some scythes in Last Chaos...the main weapon for the "specialist" I think (one of the 2 choices of specialisation for the summoner)...not sure about the name though =x.
