I'm thinking seriously about checking Planeshift out. I have been following it's progress for a few years now, and they are saying that it plays like a beta game now. It's been interesting to watch them build a MMORPG from the ground up.

PlanetShift is a kick ass game. I loved it until the end (well..until i hit the level cap for free-to-play account). I believe from lvl 6 on you need to pay monthly for the game, mind you, you can't control mechs and etc until you are like lvl 8 or 9 i think. But still, even riding fighter jets or transporting troops to a drop-off rendezvous. So much action~ loved it...simply loved it.
