Point in case, Luke does a bad job as a moderator. Not only is he
opinionated, he makes the funniest ironic mistakes, like in his "LOL I R SKIP 8TH GRD" thread
. (Have you ever heard of a run on sentence?) If you would notice, one line went like this: "My teacher's think I can handle 9th grade curriculum."
(I've been doing this throughout the whole thing, " ' " is not a quotation mark, it can only be used as one when inside of another quotation.)
Did you ("Spot the ironic mistake" makes no sense at all unless followed by a period, making it imperative. You also might want to stop typing like you speak, it's not grammatically correct enough for you to get your rocks off.) spot the ironic mistake? The apostrophe in the word
"teachers," (quotes are always preceeded by puncuation) which was inserted after the "r," (Yes, you DO need a comma there, it's a phrase.) doesn't even belong in the word.
He claims to be exceptionally intelligent, yet he makes a 3rd grade mistake with apostrophes. With plurals, you just need the "s", and
no apostrophe. Unlike a plural form, with a possessive, you use an apostrophe in there to represent possesion.
Things like this:
"I doubt Luke's message about skipping a grade is true." (What about things like that? Oh my, could that be a sentence fragment?!:eek: )
Second, he spams way too much.
Check how many posts with a really low amount of characters, maybe only like 20 of em per post. (Forgetting something? A main clause maybe? Both of those are subordinate, as neither can stand alone as a sentence.) There are alot of them, probably the majority of his posts, even. He's more of a people person, and
a lot ("A lot" is not one word.) less of a
good average businessman type (That's a good average super duper mega cool mistake! Commas are your friend.)moderator who knows rules, technicalities,
and avoids wasting bandwidth and being
opinionated.

Anyway, I don't care what happens in regards with this thread, but know, your precious Luke McKay is way worse of a moderator than you thought, and does not deserve the title. (That could easily have been 2 seperate sentences. You have quite a problem with run-ons, y'know.) Hell, he should be labeled just like the rest of the spamming losers.
In Conclusion, he should be stripped of his staff position, replaced with someone that could do a better job, and actually punished for is spamming. None of you warn him for all of his three word posts because he's a staff member. A staff position should not equal immunity! Think of it like this, if a police officer is caught driving drunk, he gets arrested just like everyone else, and
punished. People with inside positions even usually get worse punishments, and i find that fitting for his cocky attidude. Maybe it could teach him a lesson.
(Notice anything else different? A shorter post maybe? You don't need to hit enter in the middle of every sentence, you know.)
Anyway, this isn't flaming, it's criticism.
