But I would not recommend the official server unless you want to spend years of your life grinding to 80 only drop most of your best equipment after PK'ing someone that was annoying the hell out of you, which means more months of grinding away with your dwarf to craft everything again.

I don't mind the hardcore nature of the games. I actually want that..
