Well, I played RF, got to level 28, 29 and just stopped completely. I felt the whole world was....empty and dull. I just wasn't fun to look at, once you get outside, its pretty much deserted with a couple trees here and there, textures are pretty dull. I'm pretty lenient on graphics but that just gave me a headache. The battle system was sorta slow for my liking and the grind was bad. You grind 1-30 to actually get your jobs and to PVP. However, to actually be useful in PVP you're going to need to be level 40.

One more thing. Theres barely any skills, and you "grind skills" too. As in, the skills level up as you use them. You also grind PTs, which are your weapon proficiencies. Basically, theres lots of grinding.

RF has a pretty decent backstory, enjoyable PvP, and an interesting design.

Too bad the missions' structure don't follow. Because you can ride a mech as well.

Actually it seems more populated, just there arnt so many people hanging around in one spot. I guess they leveld up and moved away from the front of the HQs.

Well RF is alright, its pretty good for a f2p mmorpg. The graphics are better than most games you would come by, and they run real smooth. The combat could be quicker, it suits melee, but I feel the guns fire rate needs increasing.
As for AOA, I havnt tried it yet, but probably some time tomorrow.

For those who's planning to start RF, please don't. Currently, the drop rates are so low that you can't even buy potions at higher levels. We're waiting for the GMs to implement the 2X drops rate patch to the server. I doubt that's gonna help much.

To level up in this game, you really have to depend on potions, the mobs will hit you hard, no doubt about it. Sitting doesn't help either, it takes 5 minutes to regen, and for a higher level character with more hp, 10 minutes probably.

The economy of RF is imbalanced, a mere price of MAUS is 600 million, NPC items is also sold at exorbitant prices. Tell me, without a good economy and no source of money to level up, is it still enjoyable?

This is especially true for Bellato Drivers, they farm for days to repair their BMAUS and lost several millions within minutes in Chip Wars.

That's it, i'm switching over to AoA, could anyone tell me more about its PvP?
