I try the game ytd it`s pretty good. You need bit of skillfulness and alot on teamwork to win the match. Its street soccer style. You are able to customise your character and there is also character stats and level. All this but just it lacks of community. Hope to see more people here to join in the fun.
His review was a bit biast so I'll give you another one. I have a level 8 character which takes a fair amount of playing to get so I do know at least a little about what I'm talking about.
So you start the game with a tutorial which is simple to follow but I got a glitch in it 3 times in a row..not sure if that's just me or not but it was annoying. After that you get 4,000 points to buy clothes and such with, I will say I like this customization aspect(I myself dressed my avatar in a french outfit). You can also buy, skills like a scissor kick, attribute points, and victory celebrations. In the games you can have a maximum of 5v5 which is plenty big given the court size(it's indoor style). You can do 1v1 and 2v2 matches but you don't get exp and you can do 3v3 for half exp. The controls are very simple and easy to learn, a few games and you can have them all down no problem. There are about 20 attributes ranging from short passes to your stealing ability. You can choose to be a defender, midfielder, or foward. Defenders and midfields can go in your own goal box while fowards can not. I do find it strange that fowards can't go in the opposing goal box either, I guess it's just balance issues. The other difference in which character you pick is their base attributes and attribute growth, for example fowards will have the best short shooting ability. There are plenty of fields to play on and balls to choose from in case you get bored of seeing the same background.
Now to the actually gameplay. The matches are 5 minutes long(hopefully there will be a way to toggle this for clan matches or something later on because it's really quite short). The game starts in the same matter as a normal soccer match except for the initial kickoff which can break the normal regulation rules. The goalies are npc controlled (not sure if they will change this in the future). The two types of passes are on the ground and in the air, each use a different button so there is no confusion there, just aim and pass. You can do a normal steal or a slide tackle, again, both with different buttons. You can sprint but you only have a certain amount of stamina, it recharges after use. Shooting can be aimed either to the right or left with two different buttons. Lastly you can use a couple button commands to dodge while dribbling, I believe you can purchase more advanced ones in the skill shop.
The only problem I have with this game (apart from rare lag issues and the practically non-existant community) is the amount of luck involved. While timing in stealing is important there is no way to guarentee a steal, it is determined by a % chance which is calculated by your steal stat and another of their stats. The other luck involved is in shooting. While you can aim your shots to a point they are almost never guarenteed( if the goalie is on the ground on the other side of a goalbox and the net is open and you aren't moving you can have a 100% chance to kick it in). It's extremely annoying be at the goalbox with 2 other teamates and have the other team on the other side of the field and not be able to score because the stupid goalie blocks so often(I'm sure this changes when you level up your shot points but that takes ages.) You only get 1 stat point per level, the rest is based off buying training you get every 10 levels, and I'm still only level 8 after probably..who knows how long of playing. One last thing is that you can get little quests ingame such as acheive 8 or more steals in one match.
