I haven't played it myself but my friends have and they say it's a big let down to the rest of the series.
But yeah.. I only heard about it I haven't experienced it myself , i'm not much into games anymore.

I got it sunday for xbox360 cuz im cool like that. BE JEALOUS JAKUZA BEEEEE JEALOOOOUS.

I like it a lot. The xbox live part is really fun and I have the GH2 and GH3 controller so I can play co-op with friends and battle them too.

my brother rigged are ps2 to play it and he downloaded it about 2 weeks before it came out

Just get a PS2 USB controller adapter, that's probably what I'll do eventually. It's really tempting, but it seems so expensive for a rhythm game. I'll probably wait a while and see if they really do use downloadable content to its fullest.

I was kind of disappointed, I don't like many of the bonus songs and a lot of the main songs I feel have been played everywhere way too much so I don't like them that much anymore. For example : KISS's Rock and Roll all night.
Also, I was expecting to get my ass handed to me on hard. Sadly, it seemed a little easy up until Slash and the The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

i got it for the Wii on release date...
right now, i'm on the song "Before I Forget" - Slipknot on expert...

for some reason i decided to go beat it on easy yesterday instead of trying to beat that song on expert (im kinda stuck on it ), and i beat it on easy today... so yay, i unlocked Through the Fire and Flames and Number of the Beast

5* every song on easy ftw lol

also got every song i've played on expert 5*'d besides "pride and joy" by SRV, "knights of cydonia" by muse, and "stricken" by disturbed

Anybody know if the pc version has online multiplayer? My console is a gamecube, so I never get to play unless my friend comes over to show off his 84% on Jordan. Though if it doesn't have multiplayer, it just won't be worth the money. If I do get it, based on my performance in ddr, I won't be seeing Through the Fire and Flames anytime soon (except my ipod).
