RF Online has now gone f2p! Come and experience massive RvRvR Wars (Race vs Race vs Rave, but we call them Chip Wars) and fight for the supremacy of your race! Each race has their own special attribute depending on what class you pick. Become an Accretian and wield massive rocket launchers and bomb the shit out of your opponents. Become a Bellato and pilot huge robots (aka MAU, Massively Armored Unit, or Mega Annoying Unit). Be a part of the Cora race and summon a Isis, Hecate, Inanna, or Paimon. There are three starting classes for all races: Ranger (ranged class), Warrior (melee), and Specialist (crafter). In the following updates that are to come, RF Online will have a high polygon graphics update, implemention of Space Wars, implemention of Planet Wars, and much, much more. Parties can hold up to 8 people and you will get bonus experience through a full party which means a faster level. RF's stat system is unique in which you must constantly use your weapon to level your Ranged, Close-Range, Race Special, Force, Shield, and Defense PT so that you can wear your higher level clothes and increase your damage, accuracy, and efficiency in them. RF's skill system is very similar to FlyFF's skill system (before the update, of course). You must use your skills to put the skills EXP bar up and eventually level when it is filled. RF is also unique in which it has an actual working economy and a tax rate that is affected by how much money there is in the economy. RF Online is NOT (I don't know how to make it any clearer) a grindfest unless you seriously gimp your character by leveling the wrong PT's and etc. You can level a LOT faster than Maplestory (which is the epitome of a grindfest) and it is possible to get to level 30 in less than a day (8 hours minimum). RF is also unique in the way that you have Archons (basically commanders in the Chip Wars) that take squadrons (if the non-Archon people aren't ******ed) of people and lead them to destroy the other race. RF is a really great game, but ******ed reviewers like the one from IGN destroyed RF's reputation with a crappy review. He hit level 30 and didn't progress any further than that (thus, they missed out on the great Chip Wars, huge robots, and raiding the other races' base and killing people) and so RF received a 5.5 (from IGN). The review also didn't party OR get in a guild and ended up soloing most of the time and so he deemed RF Online "anti-social." But who listens to IGN anyway? They're a bunch of ******s who don't know how to give good games a good score.
Some people have trouble making an account on RF, so I'll go through it step-by-step.
1. Make a COG account
2. Find a trial key from Fileplanet, etc and copy it
3. Click on subscribe and choose to subscribe to RF
4. Paste the key
5. Finish
NOTE: RF ONLINE IS F2P NOW, BUT THE OTHER SITES DON'T KNOW THAT. THE THING THAT SAYS THAT IT'S A TRIAL KEY IS A LIE; IT'S A LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION THAT'S FOR FREE!!!
The news that it's F2P is pretty new actually. A lot of this stuff is pretty new too. Not sure what section to put it under either, so I just put it where it would get the most attention.
Well jeez I dont know, if RF is free to play now wouldnt it go in the FREE MMORPG SECTION!?!?!?!
And this has been posted, reposted, and glued on everyones ass countless times.
I'll only give you credits for wasting your time on a long ass post.
Get your flame shield because here comes the fire.
Oh, woops. I wonder why Onrpg still doesn't have a "delete thread" function...
*Raises +14 flame shield with anti-dragon flame mode and critical dice function*
(Uhhh, role-playing ftw?)
