i played the stresstest and beta ,but wasn't all too impressed really.
character models looked somewhat .. absurd
the gameplay was utterly confusing, i had no idea what i was doing, random spell effects kept my off my focus at all times

the waiting lines were simply insane, i got to play one match after waiting 45 minutes, and it only lasted 7 minutes or so.
This game will be a true pain for non paying members, since they don't get priveleged in cues, which comes down to, paying members get to actually play the game, free members get to watch the cue line not moving

45 minute waiting lines? Wow. I get my elim group and wait AT MOST 5 minutes. For vortex's i wait maybe 6 minutes. In that time I go artifice for some oranges or something. Usually im under 3 minute waiting times.

And HGL is mmorpg mindless click grind. Way 2 fail at a post. This is about fury, and their free trial. I was trying to get more people to know about it. You may like HGL more but it is totally off topic.

And about the confusion. You just need to do the training bloodbath. Work on a skill build then go do vortexes to go warm up and get more used to the pvp. Then go do elims if you want to realy test your skill and build.

Please just try the trial. It's a trial. You can download it, play a day or 2. If you like it then keep playing. its 10 days of free face smashing. Then if you don't like it, big deal just go uninstall it. The only problem is we need more people to play, hence why I am trying to raise awareness of this game. Just try it and I bet most of you will like it.

no sorry. it's nice that you advertise the game, but i've heard from several people that the game hasn't changed too much compared to beta test months ago.

i also bought hellgate london 2 days ago and i'm finding it a terrific game, the chances are unlikely that i'll suddenly switch to something similar to Fury.

i would personally place fury in the hate of love category.

as for largos reply, that wasn't necessarely off topic.
i assume it simply means he choses HGL above Fury.
after all, that's also a way to express an opinion

What is Fury like? Not that I'll pay for it, just wondering.

Those waiting queues sound like whhat happened in WoW for some of the battlegrounds. I heard that the game itself was ok. I may give it a go, mainly because I love pvP

I love how everyone underrates this game because they are too simple minded to even try it out. It's a trial. Go try it out. If I would have listened to what people were saying I wouldn't have bought the game. But i did and now its probably the best game I've ever bought. It's closest comparison is a WoW Battleground, without how equipment dependant it is, you can pick and chose your skills, and theres a ton of strategy involved other than just blast that dude on the other team.

It is free to try, its a load of fun. Just go dl & play a few days. It's non stop PvP action, with a lot of strategizing intermittent and it is even better when you get into a clan and then go do premade vortex's and elims. One elim lasted for almost 25 minutes for my group. It was crazy and exciting. Please just try it, we're desperate for people to join, the game just needs a lot more people to come and play.

I'd try it, but last time I did that, I had to restart my comp.

I'd rather not waste my time for that.

You must really really worship HGL, since you seem to bring it up in every recent thread i have seen you in. Its more of an announcement that you like HGL and that everyone should know you like it. lol seriously....

    ON TOPIC:

Fury is... a strange game. Its not really that confusing really, since most skills are just copies of the rest of the skills just with different names and elements. It is a lot like a live action GW but... there are currently only a few builds that are worth using. All you really do is line up, jump into a battle ground and duke it out. If you are playing against an organized gank squad guild, you will usually die. It is not made for the non-guild type of players.

I was actually pretty active on their boards, and wrote an extensive letter detailing things they need to add into the game to help. A dev responded, and just recently those features have found themselves in the game. Example: bots and practice matches. So the devs have started listening to good suggestions from the community and can act on it fast. This is rare for a company, but then, they are in a position where they have to do everything necessary to succeed.

The game is worth trying out, it is not for everyone though and it is nothing more than a quick action fix sort of game. There are still major issues but the game is enjoyable to an extent.

If the game had a PvE side to it, and slower ranking progress, i think it would have been an amazing game. The asian style armor though is a bit over done, and the lack of western style items is in short supply. About 90% of the armor is butt ugly, and quite often the helmets look like penis heads, thus it sometimes becomes hard.. pun intended.. to take pvp serious at times.

Its worth trying, but i would wait to see what the devs do with the game right now, as its not worth it in my personal opinion. They should have dropped in game adverts and got rid of the immortal status fee and used sponsors to host tournaments rather than the method they have now.
