I would like to hear some more peoples opinions on this game too. It looks sweet, has anyone played it?

its definately a high concept game but its in a state of chaos.

You see, the french developers who made it took and used the world building technology that was not theirs to use. They were dumb, and thought they could get away with it after attempting to screw over the man who owned the tech and was previously helping them out.

Now the developers are in a legal battle for trying to be sneaky and alter the world tech, though it is still not theirs. Thus they have changed the coding so much that the game at times is hardly playable, unoptimized and the fact is they will have some hard times ahead of them in court.

I think the next hearing is in December. Two things can happen, Dark and Light is then shut down or a deal is made and they give up the rights to the game.

One of the problems is that they sold the rights to Snailgames for a chinese release of the game, only that threw a spoke in it as the man behind the technology was not asked permission nor given money from that deal.

Its one fine mess, and i hold no sympathy for the french developers and publishers who tried to pull a fast one and got caught.

well it depends on if ur a tactical game lover cuz this is what the game basically is i personally after 5 minutes of boredom uninstalled the game because it just wasnt...ok yeah it sux

i played it for a whopping 5 minutes. So slow and really didnt give me anything great from it. Nor will I try this again. But no point in playing something that is unplayable at time anyway IMO.

You're thinking of a different game. theres Dark and Light and Darkness and Light. Darkness and Light is the strat game, Dark and Light is a MMOrpg with a single player version to test the mechanics of the game.

Didn't like it, lag was killing me xD Downloaded it, 5 min later deleted it. Its junk as it is now, And there are almost no players online, or atleast they were when i was online.
