Assassin's Creed

So, the big game's finally out. However, on my usually trustworthy review site, IGN, it recieved a 7.5, but on my slightly less trustworthy review site, it got a 9.0. Has anyone tryed Assassins Creed? it is spleen burstingly amazing or just a hyped game with wasted potential?

As of right now, the games I need are:

1. Ratchet and Clank TOD
2. Uncharted
3. Super Mario Galaxy
4. Possibly Assassins Creed

Apparently they said that Ubi screwed the storyline with the genetic dna crap. I have the game, and I can truly say that it's amazing. Good story, gameplay, A.I. But, the only thing that is bad is how you get to eaves drop. It'll be a spoliler if i mention more.

The A.I is good? Are you serious? The people I know that have it have said that the AI is laughable.

I'm going to see if I can get it tomorrow, and we'll see just how "bad" it is. I honestly think I'm the only one who doesn't put HUGE expectations on these games...

Meh the storyline isn't SO bad. I mean it would probably be better if you just played as Altair the hole time but I suppose it didn't kill the game completely.

Where did you hear this? Ign? The A.I Is quite good. It is not laughable. Ign said that they put in these flaws, so that Ubi can notice them and make a better game the second time.

Oh and at the battle question. Are you serious? That was established a long time ago. Check out some new game play, they do not take turns like2 or 3 seconds later, it's not like that.

Assassin's creed was screwed up because of the storyline, it almost made me cancel my preorder. Never the less, i ignored that gay switching between desmond and Altair, and i continued playing. Yay!

I dont read IGN, however I did watch the GT review and I have gone by friends opinions.
It would be nice if they got it right first time, dont you think?

I'm sorry but since when does giving a game a 7 count as the worst game ever? 7 is still good.
And pretty much every gaming site has said bad A.I.

It looks pretty cool but for some reason I don't like the interface. I'm nitpicking but it really bothers me enough to say the game looks kind of shallow.
