    You all fail.
Get frets on fire, play Symphony X - Paradise Lost, then complain about hard.
As for the orange key, I dont really have a problem with it because I play GH like I play a regular guitar, make sure it's on your left knee, not on your right knee, and make sure you're using baseball bat stance and not the redneck hand stance. Overall its about sliding and sometimes the pinky for fast solos, but keep practicing on easy songs such as Through Fires and Flames or Knights of Cydonia, practice is key.
And get Frets on Fire, best thing you'll ever have for Guitar Hero, you can download the songs from GH 1~3 and custom user songs.

I got this USB cable for 2$ at Office Depot, and after you play Paradise Lost on Amazing, Through Fires and Flames seems easy... same goes with all the Dream Theater songs they have for Frets on Fire, some of the solos are INSANE.
You can also submit your scores online, and whatnot, but I just reinstalled so I gotta start getting back mah medals
Meantime, you CAN practice with the keyboard but it feels weird once you grab your guitar again, but the keyboard is a nice way to practice the orange key, which on the kb is purple.
