Archlord: Severely Underrated?

get farther into the game and come back. Trust me it gets bad. Plus the whole class = sexual orientation of character, not cool. The pvp is all about gulping down pots, same with pve.

For a f2p game it isnt bad, but its pretty boring as you go on.

Mmm, it just seems like lots of people avoid it like a taboo. In a mist of cartoon-ish games and endless swarm of garbage MMOs, Archlord would appeal greatly to those who prefer prefer this type of game. (guild-focused/non-cartoon graphic)

As for uni-sex characterization via classes, I don't find it too damning.

Afterall, people put up with Perfect World, and that game truly sucks. HARD.

archlord is actually incredibly bland in terms of graphics. the textures look absolutely hideous from up close, and that in todays age of gaming.

then there is the sound, EVERY weapon makes the same hit sound.
gameplay it's 1 insane grindfest. You group 40 monsters, you AoE them all just to get 0.2 xp, you do that an entire day and you almost have half a lv (and i'm talking being to mid 30 here)
knights are meatshields and elementalists are overruling supernukers.

"open pvp", no mention of that either since if you openly pvp (aka pk someone) you get these major punishments which can be withdrawn by finding the ridiculous 350 or more scrolls of pardoning (which would take you a month to get).

other than then, it's autopotion fest.

If you're character is wearing equipment below "unique" grade, then you're done for. The droprates are also, to say, quite terrible, if it even has a droprate at all.

and not to mention the bugs, the wicked lagspikes and the continuous disconnects when trying to do a "guild battle" (read: chaotic bashfest where elementalists AoE the place constantly), because the server can't handle all the "action".

I hate to break it, but you are overrating Archlord in my opinion.

Perfect World shows a lot more prestige than AL, both in graphics as in gameplay.
