I know 8600 doesn't come with crysis, i said after that, that particular one comes with Quake Wars.

Also would you mind elaborating why 8600 suck, and you completely ignored answering my post, I asked to state how much improvement I would get, not which one is in your opinion 'teh suxxor'

Well, the perfomance increase between the 8800GT and 8600GTS is way higher then 40%.

1950xt is the best bang for your buck atm.

1950xt is faster than 8800gts at times

I HIGLY suggest you wait for re-stocking of the new ATI's HD 3850/3870 they both ROCK HARD, their perfomance is equal to HD2900 and 8800GT, but here's the good part, they consume less power, m uch less power (about minus 100W) that alone left me with my jaw wide oopen, not only that, they support directX 10.1 and shader model 4.0, not only that, their price is waaaay inferior to the 8800GT right now (about 150-170$), I changed my decision of adquiring a 8800GT instead I'm going for 1 HD3870 or 2 HD 3850 (because they are smaller compared to the 3870 which are HUGE)

and about the 8600GTs they are a pretty good choice if you are low on budget and only lived on Integrated video cards, but with the newer HD's which are actually 10x better than the 8600GTS and almost the same price, I would say goodbye to the mid-range from nvidia, if it wasn't for poor ATI drivers, they would be the kings of VGA's right now

Do your research man. The 8800 GT is almost equivalent to the twice the power of the 8600 GTS.

lmao, the 3870 is -32 percent performance than the 8800GT, and it performs worse than the 2900XT....
check out Anandtech for the review....

    anyway,
if you have money for the 8800GT, get it, thats the best for the buck right now...

its really all a matter of how much cash you are willing to spend.
