why do so many companies keep making games which are basically the same its just like making a CD and then bringing a new one out a month later with a different cover.

Most of the F2P games we play now are from Asian places, I guess.

We just aren't picking the good shit.

A couple of times the Asian MMO company that owns the game will refuse to sell it to us.

And you got to know that gaming companies bid for some rights to take a game and turn it to English, and most of the cheap MMO's are generic.

I think thyre just too lazy or scared to try something new. Even if its just a small variation in a battle system they would still make lots of money

I think that the companies are afraid to take risks, because there's a large number of foreign mmos that are absolutely amazing, yet will never be released in English.

Actually its more about the $$.

Yes, there are a lot of really good Eastern MMORPGs out there, but the main reason why you dont see them here is cause they now what they got is worth big US dollars.

Now if you were a publisher, would you spend $30 million US dollars on a single localization or would you use $30 million on 2 or more localizations?

    Business is business.

If you risk big, you may lose big. If you risk small, you may lose small.
