Fried Computer?

Well i was playing Shaiya on my computer about 30 min ago. While i was putting the settings on high to take a screenshot, my computer shuts off automatically at it won't turn back on. Ive tried turning the power on and off put still nothing. It started to smell like smoke so i smelled the vents on the back of the CPU and it smelled like smoke/fire. Is my computer dying?

Well, something like that kept happening to my old computer like 3 years ago, but it turned out to be dust in the vents and it overheated because the vents were clogged with dust. Try clearing the vents and see what happens.

From what I saw, it wouldn't seem like Shaiya would do that.

I agree with this. Open up your case and take some compressed air or or a can of compressed air and blow out your computer. Thats probably the main thing wrong with it.

Its also possible that you just have PSU that went bad and need to get a new one. I've seen one go up in smoke before and I was freaking out because I thought it was going to make the fire alarms at my work go off... that would have sucked.

We'll ill try cleaning it out. My parents are giving me their computer soon because they are taking my bros so at least ill have a working one shortly. Thanks.
