Eat healthy foods, and do cardiovascular exercises every day. I'd suggest running uphill. Work on overall fitness before you start muscular training.

Read about exactly that exercises you can do:

As per basic school sports, Track and Cross Country are surely superior to Wrestling; learned through experience. A huge part of wrestling practices is work with muscular strength and endurance, as opposed to purely working the cardiovascular system with running, and burning more calories and water weight.
I guess it depends, because I'd barely lose any weight at all in track, and I lose 5-6 pounds a day in wrestling practice. Of course, wrestling here is much harder than track or cross country.

The absolute best way to lose weight, ever, is to put on layered clothes (multiple sweatshirts) and get running. Just do that on a periodic basis (3-5 times a week) and you should be on a good start. Of course, to stay healthy, you really only need a minimum of 30 minutes of good physical activity per day, which you can rule out as your PE period in school. Just supplement that with some more cardiovascular work, you should see a notable decrease in weight in only a week or so, let alone if you keep at it for a prolonged period of time.
    wrestlas way of cuttin' eh?

btw if u run somewhere warm with multiple layers and ur not in good shape u can get a heat stroke and die.

and wrestling is probally the hardest HS sport your gonna go in, all the kids you see are ripped , unless they are HWT or 215 lol.

also osiris , i dont know what kinda team you got , but we run just about as much as the cross country team and in x-country season we train with them.

    Same.

Put on a layers of clothes.
    Do Push ups.
    Sit Ups.
Then go for a jog ( if you have a dog take it with you)
Make sure you have water... Repeat -.-

    All with the clothes on.

And you can only get heat stroke when some of these conditions are met-
*Prolonged exposure to high temperatures and/or the sun
    *Limited/nonexistent hydration
    *Simply overworking your body
*Too many layers- be smart, no more than 3
Yeah, so i wouldn't run when its TOO hot outside , or inside a sauna or anything.
I am usually 125 after wrestling season and im around 115 before it starts and 112 at meets. I do it with alot of layers / 5 mile runs / workout. its not the greatest but it gets the weight down.

I think Muaythai is probably the best way to lose weight.

It worked for my friend, he went from real fat to thin by playing DDR and also came in third place at some big tournament.
