Oh man this is painful to read , I wish good luck to ya.
Since u cant prove that u didnt obtain the deliverance they might not help you.
Did u ask your neighbours maybe they delivered to them ?

Reputation: 16I called the 1 800 number and they told me it was delivered to my house...
"The package was delivered to *My Address* on Friday 1:30 PM."
Yea I might have to ask the neighbors. My house # is 8 and on the shipping information it says 8 too.... if UPS can't read that they are out of business.
Reputation: 10its probably going to be late,u didnt have insurance on it?
and btw they dont deliver on Sat-Sun. Just wait till monday.
Dont they have shipping insurance or something like that? So if something like this does happen then you're covered by it? btw I am just guessing.

Reputation: 16Im going outside to check if the wind blow any of the box away... I know it sounds ******ed but its 800$ worth of stuff. If it doesn't come on money I am ****ing screwed...
Reputation: 26I've seen a couple of cases where it'll say delivered on the website but they haven't really delivered it. I think when it says Delivered they probably mean it made it to it's final branch destination, next stop you! Plus the person you talked to I'm assuming just looked at their database (the same info you saw, which said delivered) and then told you it's delivered. I'd give it a couple days. If it was "delivered" today it should be there by Monday or Tuesday like someone else said.
Reputation: 10THis has happened on multiple occasions to me before, first time, they delivered it to my neighbors.....second time.....delivered to my OTHER neighbors......THIRD time it wasn't delivered yet, but the website said delivered......UPS can be ******ed at times.....just check all possibilities.....they're pretty slow....
Also if they claim they delivered it, ask them who signed for it and ask for the signature to see if it's anyone in your family's.
probably by "delivered" they mean its sitting in the local branch office waiting to be sent out on monday.... since they are probably lazy bastards and cant be bothered to deliver anything on the weekend.
Reputation: 177If it was really delivered and no one was home, they would have left a note on your door and called you about it. That's what they did when I was sleeping and didn't wake up to answer the door.
I'd at least wait until tomorrow. Newegg does three day shipping at the least, and today is the last day of those three days. And I generally give it an extra day, just in case
shit happens(ie: it's delayed).
After that, they need to compensate you for the loss and mistake that they made. They say it arrived, then you need to argue with them and tell them that, while it may say it arrived, it never did.
eh you should get it on Monday when they say delivered it means it's at there office because when it's there you can still pick it up they don't ship on Saturday and Sundays....or at lest thats what happened for me when i ordered my 37inch vizo lcd from newegg Oh and if there are any holes in the box refuse it
Itll probably be there on monday
I had a similar situation when I brought my xbox360.
They said it had been delivered (on the saturday) and apparently they just updated their PC sooner
Reputation: 16I guess I'll make another thread on monday, and WTF milky?
Could the package have been left on the porch and be stolen?
That happened to me twice, once for UPS and once for DHL.
They do, because they're idiots.
About five years ago I lived in a "Ghetto"-ish neighborhood, and they left a $300 video card I ordered on the back porch of my ground-level apartment.
If you're in a similar situation, OP, this may very well be the case with you.
I order things Online often, and have them shipped by UPS (my living conditions are very different now- nice little house in a great community, so I'm not worried about theft anymore) and I have never, ever heard of a package showing up as "delivered" before reaching the final destination.
When it reaches the final "branch", it does not say that the package is delivered: delivered only appears after they deliver the package and have received your signature.
Don't they have to get you to sign something to confirm its delivered?
Maybe one of his neighbours took the package and now lies.
I suggest a full house investigation.WITH chainsaws.Fun.
aka: Realize that they are simply people working at a desk and didn't have any involvement in creating this issue that you now have. They are simply your connection those that are responsible and can fix it.
But if they are dicks about it or just give you a hard time, then go ahead
