I don't know, I mean it's cool they bash Gamespot for that bad move, but I want to see at least some objective non-jeff fanboy/GS hater of said game instead of the typical "OMJG IT ZURS LOL1O1L1O BRING JEFF BACK OR WEĦLL BURN YOUR HAUSE""!!!" I mean all in all, it's the game at least decent?

Jeff's review was fair, a 6.0 is what it should get, I played it...

If I could, I would put my rating as this: 0: I didn't play it, and 'm looking at all the lame reviews. GG Gamespot.

Well, certainly entertaining to watch the reviews.

User reviews are crap because they are either made soley to praise the game or assault it.

And people need to stop overreacting.

    I'm starting to hate shooters.

Im sorry but where does it say in writing that Jeff was fired soley for this interview? It could have been any number of things that led up to it. What they had was bad timing. So it looks as if he was fired for this review.

I think people need to stop overreacting...

You can't control the opinion of one person. Maybe the person who played Halo 3 liked it. I mean do you base your opinion solely on the opinion of one reviewer? I hope not...

I don't know. Jeff was a pretty professional reviewer and editor, so I think that's out of the question for right now.

But really, I'm starting to dislike game critics, and critics in general. Why listen to one person's biased review when you can play the game/watch the movie yourself and come to your own conclusions? For an example: Everyone thought Suikoden IV was horrible, I thought it was very fun.

They list their scores as "Gamespot Scores", and not the "reviewer score".
Meaning theres a unanimous decision (or there should be) about the score of the game, and the fact is that Eidos threatened to remove the ads, and then this happened, its too obvious to be a coincidence.

I think in the future, reviews should not be based entirety on criteria but half on user scores as well, after all, i'm the one who is going to enjoy the game, not that random GS editor.

Eidos is going to make Deus Ex 3. You can only hate them for a short while...

I'm pretty sure there are about 40 other sites that gave Halo 3 a score strikingly close to 10.

I don't care about most Sony games, but Final Fantasy IV, and IX deserved their high scores--so did MGS1, and 3.

    Ooooh,fanboy!

The one beeing the prick is you. Most Final Fantasy scores were true (I'm watching you 12.You sure suck.Shoo!),Metal Gear Solid had true scores.

To shut you up,explain us how Halo 3 is "totaly" not a reamp of Halo 2 as we will print the text and wipe our ass with it.Then we'll say that the print was made of fail as it did not do a good job cleaning up,it had flashy stars and icons but it was no different from a toilet papper,it's even worse than toilet papper.

I was considering to buy a 360 due to the nice games and online mode. But guess what?Micro$oft WILL release those games for the pc later on,i bet.Not only that but as this shows what a fat, blobby, pudin idiot 360 fanboys are.

    Too much evidence says otherwise.

First, he was fired on the spot. There wasn't any kind of early warnings from his boss saying that he had poor performance or anything. The video went online, and the next day he came to work, and he was locked out of his office and told to leave.

Next, the review team are an actual team. While one person does most of the work on the review, they as a team do go over the review, and when a review that shouldn't go up goes up, the whole team gets told off for it, and not just a single person. This never happened. As I said before, there wasn't even a warning. He was fired before he even knew it, and no one else on the team knew about this either, until it happened.

Next, they removed the review from the site the moment the corporate execs got word of it.

And the ads were also pulled from the site because Eidos pulled it's advertising campaign from gamespot shortly after that review went online.

There is way too much evidence that shows that he was wrongfully fired.

Now, I'm not sure what state gamespot is located in, and that that state's labor laws are, but I wouldn't be surprised if theres a possible lawsuit in this mess.
