go on user CP and turn on email notifications for threads you are watching.

go into user cp at the top of the screen
click on options (which is on the left of the screen)
goto messaging and notifications
then on the drop down box select the option that you want... so instant notification or whatever and also make sure you check the box that makes you subscribe to threads you post in/make.

Is there a way to add the option of giving you a notice in the account itself. Like automatically adding a notice every time you make a thread.
I felt it is not needed to do the email step since I am gotten a lot of spam mails lately.

It will not go into your PMs, but if you have notifications turned on, there is a page that you can go to that will allow you to view all the topics that you are subscribed to.
To get it set up so it doesn't e-mail you, but does subscribe you, simply set the notification settings to "No E-Mail Notification"
To view your subscribed threads, click "list subscriptions" which is in the left menu bar in the user CP
