    And like olaph said, web development is a lot of work and is very much so an under-respected job. You're not going to find any good work in that area on volunteer basis, unless the person really wants to help the site out, but those are not common.
    i remember when mkportal was in development..looks good

    your right Fab..people in my field are under respected you should see how bad the stuff i have to use at work

    i'll give you a quick overview

    a pc that was considered sub par 3 years ago
    and a DSL connection lol

    also you won't get any really decent site done for less then $600 thats pretty much the baseline for a basic site design.

    i just finished a job for a client that earned me a nice $1k

    hmm the current one isn't terrible and it costs alot to have a site designed so i suggest you give adobe dreamweaver a try?maybe learn HTML?

    olaph, would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of the sort of things you would need to know to do website design.

    There was someone on this forum who used to create design templates for free. I don't think he comes here anymore, and I don't remember his name.
