If your serious about BMX, or any kind of biking, neither. I don't know what your looking at doing with your bike, so I can't really fully answer this question. I worked part time in a bike shop for a while with my dad, so I kinda know my stuff.
If your just looking to ride a bike around town, sure those will suffice. However, I suggest you get the bike un assembled, and do it yourself...or have it professionally assembled...or, at least looked over after you buy it. When they have mass assembly like that (at places like Wal Mart) the bikes tend to be thrown together quickly. Be careful.
