Default Looking for a good mp3 player

I'm looking for 3 different types of mp3's.

    1st mp3 requirements
    Size: 8-16 GB
Audio: Must have MP3, WMA, and definitely Ogg Vorbis. FM Radio is good to have.
    Price: $250 is maximum

    2nd mp3 requirements
    Size: 4+ GB
Audio: Must have MP3, WMA, and definitely Ogg Vorbis. FM Radio is a must.
    Video Playback: Unnecessary
    Color screen: Definitely
    Price: $125 is maximum

    3rd mp3 requirements
    Size: 30+ GB
Audio: Just looking for Ogg Vorbis on this one. FM Radio and recording isn't necessary but it'd be great to have.
Video Playback: Sure, but if there isn't one with video playback, I'll have too look into it.
    Price: $375 is maximum

State the name of the mp3 and the number of the category that it fits. It doesn't have to fit EXACTLY, but it must be able to play Ogg Vorbis files.

Ogg Vorbis is another audio format such as AAC, FLAC, MP3, WMA, and so on. I like to use Ogg Vorbis because it has superior sound quality to AAC, MP3, and every other audio format that I have ever used (Apple just said that AAC was near CD quality just to get their iPods sold, but in reality, it sucks).

You sound like a real audiophile, the quality of the playback in the player itself should be a priority aswell, no?

    No iPod for you then.

But seriously dude..if MP3 format isn't good enough, you'd have to be pretty picky.

Even though the screen is small, it has a nice resolution and I have wated 40+ Minute videos on it without any problem. I usually listen to it while gaming or doing some activity, so sound quality wasn't priority #1, it has passable sound quality in my opinion.

If you're looking for sound quality, I would highly reccomend the iRiver Clix 2nd generation. The 8GB model will run you around 235$, which is a decent price even though it's a bit on the high end.

i got a black 8gb iriver it rocks

has a nice big screen and love how it has speakers
and you just plug it into the usb slot on your pc and drag and drop music/video to their respected folders, you can even divide your stuff in folders and browse it via the menu..which helps with sorting music into arists/albums

Are you talking about the Clix Gen 2? Because I don't remember the Clix having speakers. I might consider getting the Clix Gen 2 seeing that it can play Ogg Vorbis and all.

I know it feels like selling out...but, get an ipod. They are really good...and thats why they sell so well. You could even get one of the older generation ones REALLY cheap (the last gen video ipods are mad cheap right now).

If you have a chance, borrow a friends
