Ever heard of Akarrian Expansion? Its origin was from a game called Whispers in Akarra. Unfortunetly the old developers left the game to move forward and create a game called Dawn of Daria. The development files and editors were made open source. Loads of people tried to bring it back and failed terribly. Not having a stable server, or simply not knowing what they are doing. I am sure you all have heard of these shards of Akarra. Likely these forums were spammed by many of them.
If you want to play akarra as it should be, and the only truely active team developing akarra under the new name of Akarrian Expansion. It has all of the original akarra as well as much more content to complete the in complete project. The developement has and will continue to move on steadily.
If you have any questions about what happened to akarra or are a player from the previous days, just download the client and connect to akarra. Admin are usually on and can answer your questions.
